Printed Circuit Board

A printed circuit board (PCB) is a base implemented in most consumer electronics. It mechanically supports and electrically connects electronic or electrical components using conductive tracks, pads and other features etched from one or more sheet layers of copper on an insulating substrate. Components are generally soldered onto the PCB to be both electrically connected and mechanically fastened to it.
